insurethebox adopts ICE Claims® system to support further growth
insurethebox, the UK’s first-ever entirely telematics-based Motor insurer, is to use the ICE Claims® system to support its plans for future growth. It has licensed ICE Claims® Management suite and the ICE Track® business intelligence product from specialist provider IT-Freedom.
Anticipated benefits include a reduction in claims leakage, an improvement in administration efficiency and a greater awareness of potentially fraudulent claims.
“Although we have only been going a year we have already reached the stage where we were starting to outgrow our existing claims infrastructure, and we see ICE Claims as a platform for future growth. Maintaining a cost-effective, high-quality claims service is vital to our plans,” said group chief executive Mike Brockman.
“One of the reasons we chose ICE is that it is versatile and we expect it to fit well with the specific needs of telematics insurance.”
Launched last June, insurethebox has more than thirty thousand policyholders and is seeing substantial month-on-month increases in volume.
